Welcome to The Makhana Story. By accessing or using our website and placing orders, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of The Makhana Story.

2. Products and Pricing

• All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
• Product images are for illustration purposes. Actual packaging and appearance may vary slightly.

3. Orders and Payment

• By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
• We currently accept Cash on Delivery (COD) as our primary payment method. A ₹20 COD handling fee applies to all COD orders.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including orders with incorrect information or suspected fraudulent activity.
• Order confirmation will be sent via email and/or WhatsApp. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We ship across India via Shiprocket. Delivery typically takes 5 to 7 business days after dispatch.
• Shipping is free on orders above ₹499. A flat ₹79 shipping fee applies for orders below ₹499.
• Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. Tracking details are shared via email and WhatsApp once shipped.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier service.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

• If you receive a damaged or wrong product, please contact us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging.
• Upon verification, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost to you.
• Replacement requests made after 48 hours of delivery may not be entertained.
• We do not accept returns for change of mind, taste preference, or if the package has been opened and consumed beyond a reasonable inspection.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, product descriptions, and website design, is the property of The Makhana Story and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Makhana Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.
